Schaumburg, IL – October 12, 2015 – Rittal North America (www.rittal.us), the world’s largest manufacturer of electrical enclosure cabinets and accessories for Industry and IT usage in multiple industries, has won the GACC Award for Excellence in Innovation from the German American Chamber of Commerce Midwest. The award was presented at the GACC Awards Gala in Chicago, Illinois, on October 9th, 2015.
The company received the GACC’s Midwest Innovator Award, and was awarded for its groundbreaking Blue e+ air conditioning system for enclosures. Rittal is one of only three companies across America to win the award in 2015.
Rittal’s international headquarters are located in Germany, with North American operations located in suburban Chicago.

Accepting the award for Rittal at the 2015 Gala was Hans Baumann, Product Manager – IT for Rittal North America.

Rittal’s new Blue e+ air conditioning technology is designed to lower energy consumption for its customers, a major component of operating costs for manufacturers and data centers. The Blue e+ lowers Total Cost of Ownership (TOC) and produces energy savings within enclosures by up to 75 percent compared to other units.
